Ahern State Park
Overview
Spans 128 acres, with 3,500 feet of shoreline on Lake Winnisquam. Activities include fishing, biking, hiking. The park was transferred to the state in November, 1994 as Governor's State Park, and renamed by statute in 1998. Ahern is unstaffed but is open to the public year 'round at no charge.
