James E Nichols Memorial Library

Welcome to the James E. Nichols Memorial Library, a historic library built in 1910. It has been judged as "one of the finest classical libraries in the state". It was designed by Charles Brigham and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The picturesque Town of Center Harbor is nestled on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. Visitors and residents alike are welcome. We're open year 'round and we look forward to seeing you.
